Up and running in three steps
- ConnectInstall from your Shopify admin, add your Fruugo retailer credentials, and press Test connection.
- MapPick a Fruugo category for each Shopify product type. Relay Sentry suggests matches from Fruugo's own category list and shows how many products each rule covers.
- RunYour feed rebuilds as your catalogue changes, Fruugo orders arrive in Shopify, and tracking goes back when you fulfil.
Everything you need to run a Fruugo store from Shopify
Orders in, confirmed back
Fruugo orders become Shopify orders and are confirmed back to Fruugo as soon as the Shopify order is created. Cancellations and refunds in Shopify are reported to Fruugo too.
Tracking goes out on its own
Fulfil in Shopify as usual. The shipment and its tracking number are sent to Fruugo, and a later tracking change is sent as an update.
A fix queue, not an error log
Stuck orders are grouped by cause and SKU with a plain-English fix beside Shopify's own message. Relay Sentry checks live stock to tell you which ones look fixed, then retries them in one click.
Category mapping in one sitting
Unmapped product types are listed with the most products first, each with suggested Fruugo categories you can accept in bulk. Every rule shows how many products it affects.
Why isn't this product live?
Every product carries one reason (no category, invalid barcode, out of stock, rejected by Fruugo) and you can filter by it. Fruugo's own rejection message is shown beside the product.
Pricing built for marketplaces
Add a store-wide margin, override it per product type or collection, set a different markup per country, and schedule sales with start and end dates. Your Shopify prices are never changed.
Checked before Fruugo sees it
Barcodes, categories, images and required fields are validated on every feed run. A bad row is held back and counted instead of reaching Fruugo broken.
You choose what stays in sync
Turn off syncing for title, description, images, price or stock separately, so edits you make on Fruugo aren't overwritten.
Switch apps without relisting
Coming from CedCommerce or another Fruugo app? Upload your old feed and Relay Sentry keeps Fruugo's existing product IDs, copies your category rules, margin, lead time and safety stock, and sets an order cutover date so nothing imports twice.

When can I install Relay Sentry?

What does Relay Sentry do?
Relay Sentry is a Shopify app that connects your store to the Fruugo marketplace. It sends your products to Fruugo, brings Fruugo orders into Shopify, and sends shipment tracking, cancellations and refunds back to Fruugo.
Do I need a Fruugo account first?
Yes. You need an approved Fruugo retailer account. Relay Sentry uses its credentials to talk to Fruugo on your behalf.
How do my products get to Fruugo?
Relay Sentry publishes a product feed at a private address that Fruugo collects on its own schedule. If your Fruugo account has Product API access, you can also publish products directly and stock changes are pushed as they happen.
Can I switch from another Fruugo app without losing my listings?
Yes. Upload the feed your old app (for example CedCommerce) was sending and Relay Sentry keeps the product IDs Fruugo already has, so your existing listings keep selling instead of being duplicated. It also copies the settings it can measure from that feed.
Does Relay Sentry store my customers' details?
No. A customer's name and address are passed from Fruugo into the Shopify order and are never saved in Relay Sentry's own database.
What happens if something stops working?
Relay Sentry watches for orders nearing Fruugo's deadlines, shipments missing tracking and feeds that stop updating, and alerts our team when it finds one.
What does it cost?
Pricing isn't final yet. The projection is a free plan for up to 50 Fruugo orders a month and paid plans for more, billed through your Shopify invoice. Final prices are set at launch.
